THURSDAY, JANUARY 7

6:30 pm – 8:30pm: Main Street Theater (630 Main St.) “Next to the Post Office”.

Kick it all off with a slide show and presentation by Caroline George and Andres Marin.   $15 admission includes New Belgium beer, a special souvenir and the show. If you don’t want the really cool memento you can get in for $10 bucks.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 8

8:30am – 3:00pm: Ice Park Lower Bridge – Sponsors Outdoor Bazaar and Gear Demo.

9:00am – 3:00pm: Ouray Ice Park sponsors area at the low bridge – interactive climbing clinics. Participants meet at their instructors tents.

9:00am – 3:00pm: Ouray Ice Park Low Bridge – Miked demos with the pros.

9-10:30a – Low Bridge: Rob Cotter

10:30a – 12noon – Low Bridge: Gordon Mcarther

12n – 1:30p – Low Bridge: Andres Marin

1:30p – 3:00p – Low Bridge: Margo Talbot and Warren Macdonald

5:00pm – 8:30pm: Ouray Community Center (340 6th Ave.)

  • Ouray Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser Dinner. Bottomless pints of New Belgium beer and a tasty Enchilada dinner with a $20 dollar donation to the OVFD and Ouray Ice Park.  Donation includes a special 15th Anniversary Ouray Ice Festival tumbler.
  • Check Out all our sponsors newest winter mountaineering gear at the sponsors bazaar.
  • Ouray Ice Park Silent Auction a great chance to get a deal on boots, crampons, tools, coats, helmets and all the latest goodies. Stop by and meet Steve House in person and purchase a signed copy of his newest book – “Beyond the Mountain”

SATURDAY, JANUARY 9

8:30am – 4:00pm: Ouray Ice Park Lower Bridge – Sponsors Outdoor Bazaar and Gear Demo.

 9:00am – 3:00pm: Ouray Ice Park sponsors area at the low bridge – Interactive climbing clinics. Participants meet at their instructors tents.

9:00am – 3:00pm: Ouray Ice Park High Bridge

The 2010 Ouray Ice Festival Competition. Come and watch the best male and female climbers in the world compete on a difficult mixed route for the title of overall winner at the competition.

 10:00am – 3:00pm: Ouray Ice Park Kids Area (Upper Bridge)

6th Annual Kids Climbing College and adult walk-up demo tent. Free instruction and all equipment provided.

 11:00am-2:00pm: Ouray Ice Park Lower Bridge

Ice Axe Throwing Competition hosted by The North Face. Hit the bulls eye to win great prizes.

12:00 – High Noon: Endless Ascent

Will Gadd begins the “Endless Ascent” a 24 hour attempt to climb 30,000 vertical feet of ice in the Ouray Ice Park. View his journey from the Ouray Ice Park High Bridge as Will climbs the “Pick of the Vic” over and over to raise money for the dZi foundation.

4:00 – Memorial service for Guy Lacelle at the Ouray Memorial Kiosk (High Bridge)

5:00pm – 8:30pm: Ouray Community Center (320 6th Ave.) –

  • 5:00pm – 7:00pm: New Belgium beer, Lasagna and music with a $20 dollar donation to the Ouray Volunteer Fire Department and Ouray Ice Park. Bring your special souvenir from the Friday night Dinner and get in for $15!

 - 5:00 – 8:30 Great music by Kort McCumber – Music to Move You…. And Make You Move

- Stop by and meet Steve House in person and purchase a signed copy of his newest book – “Beyond the Mountain”

- 6:30pm – 8:30pm LIVE AUCTION hosted by Timmy O’Neil. Great deals on the newest gear – good humor and good fun!!

- 6:30pm: Short and sweet slideshow presentation by Timmy O’Neill.

9:30pm: Main Street Theater Main Street Theater (630 Main St.) “Next to the Post Office”.

A special screening of the movie, The North Face.  Admission will be $10 with proceeds benefitting the Ouray Ice Park.

9:30pm – 2:00am: Wright Opera House (450 Main Street)

Late night Guy Lacelle Superhero Party and Music with our Master of Ceremonies Timmy Oneil.  Suggested $10 donation at the door goes to the SAVE THE WRIGHT OPERA HOUSE FOUNDATION

American Alpine Club Women’s Sunburn breakfast: Join us for the post Superhero party cure of a good breakfast food and good company. Slideshow presentation by Ines Papert (Lowa Boots)
