Directions
Ouray is located in the SW portion of the state. We are approximately equidistant between Durango and Grand Junction. Driving time from either Denver, Salt Lake City, or Albuquerque are all around seven hours. The closest airport service is Montrose (MTJ) located 35 miles to our north.
If you fly into Montrose, your choices are to either rent a vehicle or hire a shuttle service for the 35-mile drive. We recommend the shuttle because Ouray is very simple to navigate on foot. During the festival we provide a donations only shuttle to and from the park, and around town.
